Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue

The diploma thesis "Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue" is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on the basis of a professional literary research of the chosen issue, in which the author focuses on the pupil with special educational needs from a different socio-cultural environment, on a pupil with a different mother tongue who is educated at a regular primary school. In the introductory theoretical part, the author deals with migration, multiculturalism and briefly introduces the country, the national minority, where the student with a different language comes from. The author also includes an explanation of the terms such as intercultural identity, communication-language and integration of foreigners to this topic. In the second chapter of the theoretical part of "Inclusive education" of the pupils with specific educational needs, the author focuses on pupils with a different mother tongue. It also presents the relevant legislative documents and introduces terms such as bilingualism, counselling facilities, support measures and defines the personnel position of teaching assistants. Selected Administrative Style Genres in Teaching Czech to Native Speakers of Russian at Secondary Schools

The dissertation focuses on teaching of so called advanced writing (in Czech) to secondary- school pupils who are native Russian speakers. We investigate the topic in the framework of a specific curriculum topic, i.e. administrative style genres. The aim of the dissertation is a) to identify the approach of teachers and that of Russian-speaking pupils towards this particular part of the curriculum, b) to assess the differences between texts of the chosen genres written by Czech pupils and pupils with Russian mother tongue, and, finally, c) to propose didactic solution for teaching the given administrative style genres to Russian-speaking pupils. We approach the topic with qualitative research methods. The practical part of the thesis consists of four parts. In the first one, on the basis of interviews, we analyse the teachers' approach, collect the evidence of critical places as well as examples of good practice. The second part looks closely at the Russian-speaking pupils' view. It has been discovered the pupils often cannot evaluate their language competences objectively, and generally, they lack metacognitive skills. Pupil with a different mother tongue and the motivational factors for learning at secondary school

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the motivational factors for learning at secondary school in pupils with a different mother tongue. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is divided into five chapters. It describes the strategy of educating pupils with a different mother tongue in the Czech Republic, the core principles of inclusion and inclusive teaching, motivation, motivational factors and the importance of performance motivation in school environment. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the functions of school counselling centres and school counsellors and the current form of career education in primary schools. The last section of the theoretical part is centred around choosing a secondary school and the factors which most often affect this choice. The practical part of the thesis takes the form of a qualitative research survey consisting of a series of structured interviews carried out amongst school counsellors and 9th grade primary school pupilswith a different mother tongue. Specifics of the work of a novice teacher when integrating a pupil with a different mother tongue at a Czech primary school

This thesis deals with the problematics of the work of a novice teacher, who has a pupil with a different mother tongue in his class. Its aim is to identify the specifics that usually accompany the work of novice teachers when integrating these pupils. The text is structured into two parts, each of which is further divided into several chapters. The first, theoretical, part compiles and then presents expert knowledge on migration, inclusion and then education of pupils with a different mother tongue and, last but not least, the role of the school as well as teachers in the process of integration of these children. It also sets out the criteria that affect and influence pupil integration with a different mother tongue. The second part of the thesis is practical. It contains an analysis of the work of two teachers who currently have pupils with a different mother tongue in their class and are trying to integrate them. Czech as a second language for a pupil with a different mother tongue in primary school

This thesis deals with teaching Czech as a second language for pupils with a different mother tongue at primary school. Collects and presents professional findings on this topic. Diploma thesis explains the difference between Czech as a second language and Czech as a foreign language and compares them. The thesis examined what is necessary when the teacher is planning the lesson. Further, describes in detail the various materials and textbook Domino 1 in terms of a beginning teacher of Czech for foreigners. In the practical part of the thesis submitted to analyse three topics. Based on this analysis and complete analysis of theoretical knowledge, textbooks, and materials originated recommendations for a beginning teachers. The thesis also deals with a utility of textbooks of Czech as a second language in a regular classroom. The practical part includes ideas for games in a lesson or samples of worksheets. The result of the work is to evaluate teaching materials and sample other tools that can be used in the Czech lessons for foreigners. Diploma thesis called Pupil with a different mother tongue concerns the topic of pupils with a home language different from the language of communication of the country they are in. In the theoretical part, the thesis describes the situation of these pupils in the Czech republic and in the world, especially the topic of bilingualism which reflects the situation of pupils with a different home language which already use the second language in various degrees. Next, it deals with intercultural communication, support of these pupils in school and methods of maintaining both languages (native and second). The diploma thesis on the topic of Integration of pupils with different mother tongues in the environment of selected Czech schools consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part the basic terminology and issues related to pupils with different mother tongues is defined on the basis of a literature search. In the first part of the work I deal with migration as a phenomenon and also with the development of migration in the territory of the Czech Republic.
